Injury Treatment Handouts
For your convenience, Dr. Cole has developed specific treatment handouts related to the following injuries:

Injury Prevention
Using the principles of Biomechanics, Dr. Cole looks for structural and functional abnormalities that can lead to injury. He focuses on correcting improper alignment, and utilizes corrective exercises, cross-training, proper conditioning, warm-up and cool-down practices, hydration and nutrition to prevent injury.

Performance Enhancement
Through the use of integrated training and conditioning methods (such as agility, core, flexibility, balance, speed and resistance training), Dr. Cole can help you reach peak performance while reducing your risk of injury. Whether you work behind a desk full-time or are a professional athlete, Dr. Cole can help you achieve your goals.

Rehabilitation Services
Dr. Cole has received rehab training and is well-versed in rehabilitating many conditions. He firmly believes in the use of rehabilitation during his chiropractic treatments as he believes that if you do not address the issue from all relevant points, it is difficult to truly heal.

When your joints get out of place or tissues are injured, it weakens your system. Dr. Cole identifies areas of weakness by looking for flexibility, range of motion deficits, and muscular weakness to fix your current injury and prevent future issues.

The bones, joints, muscles, nerves, fascia, and ligaments need to be in their proper place for you to function at your best, so Dr. Cole strives to use his treatments as a correction rather than a band-aid. Believing that patients get better faster with a multidisciplinary approach, Dr. Cole stays involved with various professionals to make sure his patients get the best care available.

Services Provided By other Colleagues at Stafford Location

Physical Therapy

Assessment of injury and movement patterns and prescription of exercise and modalities designed to address and enhance tissue healing and resolve muscular imbalances for faster healing and long-term prevention. Physical therapists often care for individuals after surgery to regain strength and achieve optimal function. They use many of the same techniques as chiropractors, focusing more on the exercise side of care.

Massage Therapy

Practioners utilize various techniques to address tissue tone and performance. Massage helps remove tension and increase blood flow to the area to aid in a faster recovery. People seek out massage for different reasons, from lymphedema movement during cancer to relaxation massage geared towards helping the body relax and the positive mental side effects. We offer very reasonable prices and availability Monday through Friday.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique where the practitioner inserts thin “dry needles” into a muscle or tissue to increase blood flow to the area and facilitate the bodies own healing process.
