Dr. Cole had a busy summer! In addition to earning the prestigious DACBSP designation (Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians) and caring for his patients in the Stafford and Fredricksburg area, he also traveled to Spokane, Washington in mid-July to serve on the medical team for the Pan American Taekwondo Championship. Nearly 1,600 athletes competed on 10 different mats at this international event. “Receiving an invitation to join the medical team for the Taekwondo Pan American competition was truly an honor,” noted Dr. Cole. “It gave me an opportunity to work with an accomplished group of medical providers from primary care doctors to surgeons.” Providing care at the competition not only further expanded Dr. Cole’s expertise in working with high-performance athletes, it also added to his experience in evaluating pain source and working with the latest treatment protocols to benefit his patients with non-athletic injuries and conditions.
